just fantastic
“I do love to learn. It’s all I feel like I’m ever doing. It’s really the best you can do in life, is learn. You can’t really do anything right. You can just learn. Right now, I am learning to be a dad. I am learning how to take better care of myself and my kids. I”m learning how to communicate with people in my life.

“I want movement, not a calm course of existence. I want excitement and danger and the chance to sacrifice myself for my love. I feel in myself a superabundance of energy which finds no outlet in our quiet life.

Summer Kohlrabi

I made kohlrabi for the first time ever tonight. I didn’t even know what it was before yesterday, but Luke and I picked one up at a local market and the farmer gave me this recipe. It was pretty good, a little heavy even as a side dish, and I think I would like to try it again using a different recipe. Interesting though…it tastes like broccoli raw! We ate it with a simple salad (romaine, tomatoes, blueberries & Brianna’s) and spaghetti (I ate mine with pesto, Luke ate his with pasta sauce and sweet italian sausage).
